Walsall manager Richard Money has backed Troy Deeney to score the goals that will keep his side's promotion dreams alive this season. The Saddlers are short of fire power after Michael Ricketts returned to League One rivals Oldham after his loan spell.
Walsall are among the lowest scorers in the top half of the table, but Money has tipped the youngster to shine and add to his solitary goal so far this campaign.
"We do need to score more goals, we know that," said Money. "But Troy Deeney up front with Tommy Mooney gives us so much.
"His energy and work rate are phenomenal and if he keeps doing the right things then the goals will follow."
