Motherwell's Scottish Cup tie against Dundee, which was scheduled for Tuesday evening, has been postponed for a second time.The fifth round tie was set to take place at Fir Park after falling victim to the weather on Saturday.

However, following two pitch inspections, the clash has once again been put on hold because of a waterlogged pitch.

A statement on the club's official website confirmed: "Motherwell's fifth round clash with Dundee has been postponed for the second time.

"Despite having pitch covers in place since Sunday morning, the ground beneath the turn has not had sufficient time to de-saturate and the SFA official has deemed the park unsafe for top-flight football."

A rescheduled date is expected to be confirmed later on Tuesday.
