Steven Reid (knee) was unable to take part in the Republic of Ireland's first two training sessions ahead of the game with Brazil on Wednesday.Another of Rovers' international brigade, Blackburn defender Andre Ooijer has been ruled out of Holland's friendly against Croatia on Wednesday night due to injury.

Ooijer, 33, has a groin problem and will not be risked for the match in Split.

Manager Mark Hughes has players all over the world this week with Brett Emerton playing for Australia against Qatar in Melbourne, while Morten Gamst Pedersen is closer to home with the Norwegian squad in Wrexham for the match against Wales.
