Ipswich goalkeeper Shane Supple is hoping his loan spell at Falkirk will help him regain the number one shirt at Portman Road. The 20-year-old hasn't started a game for Jim Magilton's side since last May but with Neil Alexander moving to Rangers last week could be back as first-choice if he performs well in the SPL.
He told Ipswich's official website: "I will be back in the summer and with Neil leaving, the shirt might be up for grabs.
"It's been frustrating for me this year because I've not played enough and I asked the manager if I could go out on loan.
"Reserve games are few and far between and the standard is not the highest so I wasn't seeing too much action.
"It will be a good standard in Scotland and a new experience and it will give me a chance to prove myself."
