Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll has bolstered his promotion-chasing squad with the permanent signing of striker Gareth Taylor from Tranmere.The 34-year-old initially arrived at the Keepmoat Stadium as a deadline-day loan signing, but has now signed until the summer of 2009 on a free transfer.
Journeyman Taylor, who started his career at Southampton, has played for 10 other clubs before joining Sean O'Driscoll's promotion-chasers.
Taylor is expected to be included in Doncaster's squad for Saturday's home clash with Bristol Rovers.
