Cheltenham manager Keith Downing is sweating on the fitness of striker Steve Brooker ahead of the trip to Bristol Rovers in League One on Tuesday.
Brooker was forced off the field just 38 minutes into Saturday's 0-0 draw with fellow strugglers Gillingham, only his fifth appearance of the season, after pulling up with a tight groin.
Damian Spencer came on to replace Brooker against the Gills and he again would be the most likely candidate to fill in should the Robins forward fail to prove his fitness.
Long-term absentees Shane Duff (Achilles), John Finnigan (foot) and Michael Townsend (illness) all remain unavailable, while the game is expected to come too soon for Paul Connor (hamstring).
Rovers boss Paul Trollope could name an unchanged starting XI for the fourth straight match.
Trollope saw his side stretch their unbeaten run in all competitions to 10 games with the 3-2 win at home to rock-bottom Port Vale at the weekend.
Centre-half Steve Elliott and full-back Ryan Green remain the only absentees for the Pirates. Elliott faces several weeks out after suffering medial knee ligament damage while Green is closing in on a return from his Achilles problem, but is still not ready to return to first-team action.
Trollope was critical of his side's finishing against Vale but is still expected to keep faith with strike pairing Andy Williams and Rickie Lambert.
Victory for the Robins would see them pull level on points with the Pirates, who currently occupy 17th spot in the table.
