Sheffield United's players have been told they will be dropped if they let standards slip below those set at Ipswich.Manager Kevin Blackwell fired the warning after seeing his players turn in a much-improved display in the 1-1 draw at Ipswich.

Blackwell said: "The players set standards that they must now maintain because they have proved that they can do it.

"It's the sort of platform of performance I require and they know that if they do not match it, every time they step on the park, they will be out of the side.

"That is the least that the fans expect and if we can play like that at Bramall Lane the fans will be right behind them."
