Midfielder Gary Roberts believes Crewe deserve more points for their performances of late and is hoping for a win over Nottingham Forest. The Railwaymen have lost just once in the last five games but have still managed just six points out of a possible 15.
Alexandra, who lie a place above the relegation zone courtesy of goal difference, host promotion-chasing Forest at the weekend and Roberts admits they desperately need a victory to ease the pressure.
"We are putting in good performances but not getting the rewards as we are not moving up the league," Roberts, on loan from Ipswich, told the club's official website.
"Saturday will be a big game. They are pushing on but lost on Monday night 1-0 so it's a big game for us. It's getting tight down there so hopefully we can drag some more down with us.
"One or two wins and you are pushing towards mid-table so we are not too far away really. We are looking to win on Saturday."
