Crystal Palace striker Dougie Freedman has signalled his desire to remain at Selhurst Park and fight for his place by turning down a switch to Leeds.
United boss Gary McAllister was keen to take the 33-year-old to Elland Road on a short-term deal but Freedman has now decided his future remains with the south London club.
Freedman told BBC Radio London: "There's been discussions put to me and to the manager [Neil Warnock] from Gary."
"I've had a little bit of time thinking about it, but I just feel that I have something to offer Crystal Palace.
"As long as I keep on playing football for Crystal Palace and get game time then any [other] team is a dead duck.
"I want play here. I want to finish my career here. When I stop getting game time for Crystal Palace then I'll consider my options but so far I'm happy to stay."
