Substitute Scott Dobie's injury-time strike snatched Carlisle a 2-1 home victory against Yeovil to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.Carlisle dominated the first-half exchanges but for all their pressure the home side struggled to find the finishing touches.
It had been a largely frustrating afternoon for the Cumbrians against a Glovers side that defended doggedly after grabbing a first-half lead through Marcus Stewart's spectacular 28-yard effort.
The goal came against the run of play in the 38th minute and was a classy individual effort by the experienced Stewart, who fired a snapshot past Kieren Westwood and into the top left-hand corner.
Carlisle's attacking eventually told when Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's corner from the left was headed powerfully home by Peter Murphy - the ball cannoning off a defender as it flew past Asmir Begovic in the visitors goal.
Then teenage sub Gary Madine chested down Bridge-Wilkinson's cross and Dobie was on hand to smash home a volley from 10 yards.
