Goalkeepers

CHOOSE 'EM

Championship-bound Derby have scored just six goals on their travels this season, so Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is an absolute shoe-in at 11.00.

Scott Carson's butter fingers won't be called into action that frequently by visiting Bolton, and he looks very well-priced at 4.30.

Porcelain-limbed Wigan shot-stopper Chris Kirkland is also good value at 4.97, particularly when you consider the fact that the Latics - who host Birmingham at the JJB on Saturday - have the best home defensive record outside the top six.

LOSE 'EM

Good-time American goalie Marcus Hahnemann (9.36) won't be remotely stoked by the prospect of a trip to Newcastle, who demonstrated against Spurs last weekend that they haven't forgotten where the goal is after all.

And speaking of Spurs and their general inadequacy, don't expect Paul Robinson (2.45) to produce any miracles at Europe-chasing Blackburn.

Defenders

CHOOSE 'EM

Blackburn captain Ryan Nelsen (3.90) has returned to the side after a spell on the sidelines, and looks very well priced for a clean sheet against a Spurs side who aren't half as goal-happy away from home.

John O'Shea (7.91) is a sure thing to start for league leaders Man United at Middlesbrough, while goal-scoring centre-half Martin Laursen (11.03) could rack up a hatful of points at home to relegation-threatened Bolton.

Habib Beye (8.32) cracked the crossbar in Newcastle's 4-1 win at Spurs, and will look to get forward again when Reading come to town.

And while Fulham left-back Paul Konchesky (5.87) plays with all the finesse and imagination of Wimbledon-era Vinnie Jones, he might just earn some clean sheet points against Roy Keane's Sunderland, whose away goals tally is the second-lowest in the division.

LOSE 'EM

As attackings defenders go, they don't get much better than Bolton's Matt Taylor, whose price has rocketed to 15.08 following his brace against Arsenal last weekend.

But Bolton face a tough test at Aston Villa, and team-mate Gretar Steinsson (13.26) can expect a stern examination at the hands (or, rather, the feet) of flying winger Ashley Young.

Former Manchester United pair Phil Bardsley (9.39) and Jonny Evans (9.15) have been in fine form in recent weeks, but Sunderland's away form is awful and Fulham are desperate for the points.

The injury absence of Ledley King means Jonathan Woodgate (7.20) will find himself even more exposed than usual against Blackburn, who have notched some comprehensive victories at Ewood Park this season.

Midfielders

CHOOSE 'EM

With Derby's fate now secure it's OK to belittle them even more, so stick as many Everton players in your team as possible and watch the points stack up.

With Mikel Arteta a little bit expensive at 15.46, you might be better off going for Leon Osman (11.16, pictured) or - even better - Steven Pienaar (6.21).

Free-kick specialist Geremi (14.29) got his first goal of the season against Spurs last weekend, and will be confident of adding to his free-kick tally against a Reading side replete with such noted ankle-botherers as Stephen Hunt and Ibrahima Sonko.

LOSE 'EM

Victory over Everton last weekend means the fourth Champions League place is almost secure for Liverpool, so expect to see Steven Gerrard (21.64) existentially furrowing his brow on the Emirates bench as Rafa Benitez rests his big men ahead of the Champions League return leg against Arsenal on Tuesday.

Man United might be shorn of the services of Vidic for the trip to Middlesbrough, but don't expect Stewart Downing's (15.40) unique brand of one-paced left-wing lumbering to bear fruit against the meanest defence in the league, even if he will be up against John O'Shea.

Tim Cahill (10.12) could probably score a hatful against Derby even with a broken metatarsal, but he's not going to play.

Forwards

CHOOSE 'EM

Everton's top-scorer Yakubu (13.91) will be the most likely beneficiary of Derby's customary benevolence when it comes to goalscoring opportunities, and you'd be a fool not to pick him. With Andy Johnson laid low with groin knack, the Nigerian could be partnered by Victor Anichebe (6.81).

Figure of fun Michael Owen (13.78) has suddenly scored three goals in his last three matches, and will look to add to that tally when Reading come to town. Obafemi Martins is also well-priced at 12.08.

With Robin van Persie doubtful, Eduardo injured and first-choice right-winger Emmanuel Eboue playing at right-back in the absence through injury of Bacary Sagna, Arsenal's Theo Walcott (6.34) is almost guaranteed a starting berth against Liverpool, who could be without some of their top performers.

Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor has seen his value fall to 10.83 in recent weeks, but he's a good bet to end his goal-drought at home to Bolton.

Likewise, Benni McCarthy (7.42) will get plenty of chances to fill his boots against Tottenham, whose season ended the precise moment Jonathan Woodgate nodded the ball past Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech in the 94th minute of the Carling Cup final.

LOSE 'EM

He may well be the most prolific blonde striker to grace the English top-flight since Francis Lee (ask your dads, kids), but Fernando Torres (19.00) nonetheless remains at the mercy of Rafa Benitez's rotational whims, and will probably be rested for the trip to Arsenal.

Dimitar Berbatov (16.03) is far too elegant a player to sully himself by running around and sweating in a grim little Northern town like Blackburn, so expect him to flounce off midway through the first half with nothing more than a couple of immaculate backheels to his name.

Wigan don't concede many goals at home, so Birmingham's Mikael Forssell (8.82) will have his work cut out.
