Irishman Barry Conlon has backed Bradford's bid to mount a promotion challenge by accepting a new six-month contract with the club. The 29-year-old has been in and out of Stuart McCall's side this season, but opted to stay and share in what he insists are good times ahead.
Conlon told the club's official website: "There are other clubs in this league and one above that I could have gone to, but I'm delighted to be here.
"That's the main thing at this stage of my career. I want success and I believe that can happen at this club.
"This season's been frustrating for me, but I'm so happy to stay because I think the next one will be good.
"The six-month contract works in favour of both the club and me, but I'm confident enough in myself and back my ability to take it on from there."
