Wycombe manager Paul Lambert believes the club have a "vibrant" future ahead thanks to the flourishing youth set-up at Adams Park.Matt Phillips won the man-of-the-match award on his full debut against Bradford at the weekend and Lambert insists there are plenty more where the 17-year-old winger came from.
He said: "This club needs to thank Gary Karsa, Richard Dobson and Ian Culverhouse for what they've done to the youth team.
"They've completely turned it around, it's extraordinary how they've built it up from nothing.
"It's not just Phillips, we have a great nucleus of talent and some of them have a real chance of making it.
"The youngsters are here, you just need a manager to bring them on. It might take a few years but you have to be patient. Underneath the surface of this football club it's really vibrant."
