West Brom manager Tony Mowbray hopes his side's elevation back to the Premier League can convince three of his key players to stay at the club.Top scorer Kevin Phillips, midfielder Zoltan Gera and defender Martin Albrechtsen are all out of contract at the end of the season, but Mowbray is keen to keep all three at the club as they prepare for a top-flight return.
The Baggies clinched the Championship title with a 2-0 win at QPR on Sunday and Mowbray immediately switched his attentions to the make up of his playing squad for next season.
"They will decide their futures. We will make them offers we think are fair in terms of the balance of the squad and where we see them in the squad," Mowbray told the club's official website.
"The bottom line is that it's down to their advisors - I can't put a gun to their heads and make them sign.
"What I've tried to engineer in this club is a spirit and camaraderie so players want to be part of something and hopefully enjoy their football.
"Zoltan has got into double figures this season and Kevin has once again scored over 20 goals.
"I hope they appreciate they play in a team that supplies the ammunition for them and is good for them to play in.
"If they want to be a part of that then great. If not, there will be no falling out."
Hungarian playmaker Gera has held off any talks with the club until the end of the season, but Mowbray is hoping to sit down with the 29-year-old soon.
Gera moved to The Hawthorns from Ferencvaros for a fee of £1.5million in the summer of 2004, and has scored 25 goals for the club in 154 appearances.
Mowbray added: "I'm sure Zoltan and his advisors are looking to see what suitors he's got out there. And because we're in the age of Bosman, he is well within his rights to do that.
"If he decides his future is elsewhere, I will shake him by the hand and wish him good luck.
"But I think the scenes (at Loftus Road), both on the pitch and in the dressing room, will make it a tough decision if he ultimately decides to leave our football club.
"What I know is that we will endeavour as hard as we can to keep him. We hope he will stay."
Another Baggies ace whose future is uncertain is South Korean midfielder Do-heon Kim.
Kim came off the bench to net the opener at Loftus Road, but has made just one start for the Baggies since arriving on loan from Seongnam Chunma in January - and his appearance yesterday was his first since the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Portsmouth last month.
But he hopes he has done enough for the club to take up their option to make the deal permanent.
He said: "I have not had the opportunity to play for a long time. The manager gave me a chance and I was very happy to score.
"I'm hopeful yesterday's game wasn't my last one and I intend to contribute in the Premier League next season.
"I am pleased to have the chance here. The Korean life is so different to English but football is the same. I am very happy."
