Huddersfield's 33-year-old defender Robert Page has put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement to join Chesterfield in the summer.Former Wales international Page, who was capped 42 times by his country, will move to Saltergate in the summer when his current deal with the Terriers expires.

Page's arrival will end a long chase for Spireites manager Lee Richardson, who tried to sign the centre-half after he was released by Coventry in January.

Richardson said: "I am really delighted that we have eventually got our man as I expect him to make a major impact on the team with his experience and leadership qualities."
