Harry Redknapp admits that he is not sure how Portsmouth will shape up in the FA Cup final without the cup-tied Jermain Defoe. The Pompey boss was left to reflect upon his decision to change formation in the 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough in an effort to get striker Milan Baros up to speed ahead of the Wembley showpiece against Cardiff.
He said: "I wanted to get a bit of a run into him (Baros) because (Jermain) Defoe can't play in the cup final.
"I thought, 'Let's have a go at them today, let's see what we can do'.
"But in all honesty, the system that has worked for us is 4-5-1. We stick two up there and it doesn't seem to work for us, unless Kanu plays, who can hold the ball. The ball sticks with him."
