SHEFFIELD, England (AFP) - Ronnie O'Sullivan captured the 2008 world snooker title after completing an 18-8 win over Ali Carter in the final at the Crucible Theatre here on Monday.
The Rocket, now a three-time champion, held a 11-5 overnight lead which he stretched to 16-8 before wrapping up the last two frames in the evening session.
