Chelsea face Newcastle at St James's Park knowing anything but a victory would spell disaster for their Premier League title hopes.
Michael Ballack has recovered from the knee injury he picked up against Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday and will almost certainly line-up alongside Frank Lampard in midfield.
Newcastle will welcome back striker Mark Viduka, with the Australian adjudged suitably fit despite a lingering Achilles problem.
Kevin Keegan is also likely to have James Milner, Abdoulaye Faye and David Edgar at his disposal, with all three having recovered from injuries.
Full-back Stephen Carr is doubtful with a hamstring problem, while Steve Harper will continue to deputise for Shay Given in goal.
Following Manchester United's 4-1 win against West Ham on Saturday, Chelsea need at least a point to stay in the title race. If they lose, United will be crowned champions.
Newcastle can draw level with Tottenham in 11th position with a win, and could finish as high as 10th if they also beat Everton next weekend and other results go in their favour.
