Formula One may have had a weekend off preparing for the Spanish Grand Prix, but it was still a busy weekend of motorsport action – with MotoGP the headline act as it made its annual trip to Spain.
Valentino Rossi took victory at Jerez while there was success for Bradley Smith for the first time, while also on two-wheels, Leon Camier took a double win in the British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park.
On four-wheels, Ireland were crowned World Champions in A1GP after a double win at Brands Hatch, while Chevrolet took its first wins of the WTCC season on the new street circuit in Marrakech.
