Brighton & Hove Albion manager Micky Adams has denied making an approach for Millwall winger Ryan Smith.The 21-year-old had been linked with a move to the south coast before Micky Adams completed the signing of Kevin McLeod from Colchester.

Adams told the South London Press: "Ryan has done well and has potential to be a good player but we are now sorted in that position."

The former Arsenal player made just 10 starts for the Lions last season after a knee injury kept him sidelined for most of the campaign.
