New Birmingham recruit Christian Benitez has hailed his move to St Andrew's as a dream come true.
The Ecuador striker, 23, has signed from Mexican side Santos Laguna for an undisclosed fee.
He told the Birmingham Mail: "It's a very competitive league, it's a nice dream for me and thank God.
"Now I have to think fast to adapt and succeed, I cannot be more grateful to the people of Laguna and I'm very happy with this new challenge."

Benitez is a great signing and it shows the attitude of Birmingham. I was slightly concerned with a comment David Sullivan made when he said that Alex Mcliesh would be staying at the club for at least two more seasons until he proved himself in the Premiership and then he would probably move to a top six club. Doesn't sound too ambitious about Birmingham's prospects.
lets hope his dream is not our nightmare
