Sheffield Wednesday chairman Lee Strafford has told supporters they can positively affect Brian Laws' summer transfer budget by buying season tickets this month.
Strafford has pledged that fans buying a season ticket by either June 13 or 30 will receive a Premier League one for the same price should the Owls gain promotion in any of the next three seasons.
He said: "We have been really encouraged by the uptake of season tickets so far this year and I am confident we can hit our target of 16,500, if not exceed it.
"As an extra incentive to join us for what we expect to be a very exciting season ahead, I am delighted we are able to offer all fans who commit to a season ticket by the end of June a guarantee they will be able to buy a Premier League season ticket at 2009/10 Championship prices if we win promotion by 2012.
"I must remind our supporters that season tickets sold this month will go a long way to determining Brian Laws' football budget for the coming season.
"Brian has already made some very positive moves in the transfer market and we want to back him with the ability to bring in more high quality players but that can only happen if we meet our season ticket target."

john fowler!1 - What do you mean by some outside chance? Pretty much a certainty to go down. Team full of League 1 players, did well to finish out of the relegation places last season. No money to buy - desperate to sell season tickets - asking for the same clowns to find investors that Liverpool had. They'll do well to sell all those tickets with this recession taking away jobs. Strafford is offering nothing - he's a shrewd businessman - he knows they've got no chance. Don't seriously think a small club like Wednesday can compete with big outfits like Boro and Newcastle do you? Premiership? You're having a laff!
dont get greedy! this man is a positive breath of fresh air in hillsborough more power to his elbow, and the rest of him! i fancy wednesday for a outside bet on the play offs next season. cmon wednesdaaayyyy.
If by some out side chance the Owls went Down next season, would they give us half the money back , from the cost of our season tickets ??
