Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston has denied defender Kaspars Gorkss has been granted permission to talk to Queens Park Rangers.

Rangers' official website reported on Friday the 26-year-old Latvian international had agreed personal terms with them and that a deal is imminent.

The Football League is currently examining allegations that Rangers made an illegal approach for the Blackpool player, and Oyston has dismissed the latest reports and criticised the Londoners for their conduct in the transfer market.

"We definitely have not given them permission to speak with him," Oyston told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"I'm disappointed once again with the way they've gone about their business."

  1. What difference does it make when we've got Dowie as Manager. He was no good befoe and it's only a matter of time till he get's shown the door, and the sooner the better as far as many of us are concerned. With all the Money QPR have, the Board has completely overlooked the fact that Great teams come from Great Managers and could have definately "Splashed the Cash" on somewone with a better track record than Dowie.Let this be a lesson to the Board for the next time. From D.R London
