Hearts snap up Kucharski

Sun 05 Jul, 01:08 PM

Hearts have bolstered their squad further ahead of the new season with the arrival of Polish defender Dawid Kucharski.

The 24-year-old has been recruited from top-tier side Lech Poznan, who finished third last term in the Ekstraklasa and also won the Polish Cup.

He becomes the third new signing of the close season after Jambos boss Csaba Laszlo snapped up Inverness midfielder Ian Black and Spanish winger Suso Santana.

Kucharski began his career as a 17-year-old at Amica Wronki, before moving to Lech Poznan in 2006.

  3. god paul your hilarious, top three and europe what club will do hibs a favour to get you into the top six AGAIN. as for yogi being the fans choise, this idea doesent work mate, i remember a mr john robertson taking over at hearts and this got us no-where, and if hibs have all this cash then why is yogi going for falkirk duds and not going for decent players, lets not forget about your mr man utd, that goes for nothing either cos dont forget we have mikie stewart (who also played first team football at man utd) and lets not forget football is a team sport and doesent centre on one player. but anyway thanks for the laugh its priceless.

  4. to all you hearts fans thanks for your comments but our new signings do have pedigrees just google them and remember 1 of our signing played in man utds first team we have more signings to come and being a debt free club yogi has money in the bank to spend to the sum of £3m you have a very good mananager but beware he has learned thisseaon that he will get no more money, which i fear you will loose him next season as for his new signings time will tell as for yogi yes he was the supporters choice but he is a deicated strong manager who is also a hibee it wasnt yogi who neary got them relegated it was the lack of support from the so called supporters and lack of commitment from the players and finaly lack of funds from a diddy board of a second rate team,do you see his reason for coming to hibs a debt free club commited playes money to spend and the most loyal fan in the spl last but not least dont worry about us not being in the top 6 we will be there maybe even in the top 3 back in europe where we belong all you doubters that are on this forum all i can say is watch this space srting with 3 easy points against the saints on the opening game so good luck you may need it

  5. Hibs are no longer a team competing for europe and will struggle to even get in the top six. I dont think anyone takes them seriously anymore and are going backwards. cant see Hughes doing very much, bairly kept Falkirk in the SPL.

  6. Hi guys .As a Pole i can give you more information about D.Kucharski.He is a solid defender but didn't play a lot last season (only 3 times). He didn't have much chance to play next season so when his contract expired 30th of june he decide to go to scotland for a test and luckily for him they signed him after 3 days of training with a first squad.I think he can easily play in first squad of Hearts .Wish him all the best.

  7. hibees tryin to comment on football players, oh how i laughed, this comming from a club that signed yogi "a man who JUST managed to keep falkirk in the spl on the very last day of the season", oh yes boys he really is a TOP manager, this signing was to keep the fans happy, but now to top off the laughter yogi keeps bringing the same duds from falkirk to hibs and the fans are happy with the signings. wake up and smell the coffee, csaba "manager of the year" will know what he is gettin and spend wisly. so worry about your own team, cos our team is in very good hands.

  9. even though we dont know much about this guy i beleieve he will come good. csaba does seem to get things from players who arent well known. one plus point is that most teams wont have heard of these new guys either so that could be a problem for them.

  10. latest news which would be a half decent signing is that rudi skatchel may be comming back as he has no other team to go to at the moment he is willing to play in any team in the world would this not be a backward step for him though?i suppose it would be great to go back to sining rudi skatchels a f****** refugee
