Cardiff have completed the signing of Jay Bothroyd from Wolves.
The striker has inked a three-year deal at Ninian Park after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
The former Arsenal youngster held talks with Cardiff over the weekend after they agreed a fee in the region of £300,000 for the much-travelled striker.
The move ends their long search for a striker after being frustrated in their attempts to sign Kris Boyd and Kenny Cooper.
Bothroyd was delighted to make the move to Cardiff and is excited at the prospect of playing for them.
"I am extremely pleased to have signed for such an ambitious club such as Cardiff City.
"I was very impressed by the plans laid down by the chairman and manager of this club.
"I have seen the passion and support this club can command and I am extremely excited by the prospect of pulling on a Bluebirds shirt."
