The 30-year-old Cameroon international only joined Nice last summer, but was deemed surplus to requirements by coach Frederic Antonetti.

After failing to appear in the opening four matches of the Ligue 1 campaign, he was allowed to move to the Gulf for an undisclosed fee.

Job played for Lyon and Lens before joining Boro in 2000, but after falling out of favour on Teesside he was sent on loan to Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia.

He left Boro on a free in 2006 and played an impressive season at Sedan but, on their relegation, he joined Nice, where he failed to win a regular place.
