Ukrainian Mykhaylo Khalilov won the fourth edition of the Memorial Cimurri ahead of former Italian national champion Giovanni Visconti and Danilo Di Luca.

Khalilov beat a chasing pack of 11 riders by one second after launching his attack in the final kilometre.

After a fast start a group of five, including Francesco Gavazzi and Vladimir Duma, broke away earning themselves a maximum advantage of six minutes 57 seconds.

But the group was caught with 48km remaining with Khalilov biding his time before making his charge for the line.
