The Iranian outfit joined Italians Trentino BetClic, Russian side Zenit Kazan and PGE Skra Belchatow of Poland in the last four with a straightforward 3-0 (25-23 25-19 25-14) Pool B triumph over the Qatari team.

They will face Trentino - who eased past Corozal 3-0 (25-18 25-13 25-19) in Pool A - in the knockout stage.

Belchatow (pictured) warmed up for their semi against Zenit with a 3-1 (22-25 25-18 25-21 25-23) victory over fellow Pool B dwellers Cimed, who won the first set.

The Russians downed Egyptians Zamalek in straight sets 3-0 (25-18 25-13 25-11) in front of two and a half thousand spectators in their final match in Pool A.

The semi-finals will take place on Saturday with the final set for Sunday.
