Di Matteo wary of Foxes

West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo admits he has been `impressed' by Leicester ahead of the two side's Championship clash at the Walkers Stadium.

The Foxes are up to fourth, just one point behind Albion, having lost only one of their last 10 games and look on course to challenge for back-to-back promotions after winning the League One title last season.

Di Matteo also identified nine-goal striker Matty Fryatt as a major threat having seen the 23-year-old score three times against him during his spell in charge at MK Dons last season.

"They've had a good start and they are a good team," he told the Albion's official website. "I watched them down at Loftus Road and was very impressed.

"I knew them from before but they've added some experience, they are solid and a good side. Nigel (Pearson) has changed a few players but not many. He's got Wayne Brown in there, Bruno Berner was there last year, Richie Wellens played last year and Dany N'Guessan is there now.

"Fryatt scored against us last season. He seems to have a goalscoring touch. He's scored quite a few and has the sniff for goal."

  4. dont count your three points till we have them, WBA are a good side and will pose problems for the Foxes. Lets not get carried away here. Do we REALLY want to get promoted this year, what would we do in the premier league except set a new record for the fewest points in a season. Give us another year in the championship to consolidate and build a squad that will give us the best chances of survival in the premier league
