Chester boss Bobby Williamson felt his side "showed a lot of character" as the came from behind twice to draw 3-3 at Accrington.Chris Holroyd gave the visitors an early lead with a simple finish from close range, but goals from Andrew Procter, Ian Craney and Roscoe D'Sane looked to have given Stanley all three points.
But Chester fought back and Laurence Wilson pulled a goal back before Holroyd restored parity 12 minutes from time.
Williamson said: "We got off to a great start with an early goal but then conceded from a set-piece which is always disappointing,
"But the lads showed a lot of character to come back twice.
"A lot of the players have been here four or five years and know what playing for Chester is all about. We had a lot of chances in the first-half and didn't take them but then came back really well."
