Morgan ready for Leeds switch

Luton forward Dean Morgan is set to join rivals Leeds after ending his loan spell in style at Southend following his FA Cup exploits.Morgan, 24, has spent the past two months on loan at Roots Hall from cash-strapped Luton but will now make a permanent move to Leeds.

He ended his stay with the Shrimpers by scoring twice in their 5-2 third-round win over Dagenham on Saturday.

Morgan said: "Leeds have agreed a fee with Luton for me and I should be agreeing personal terms with them on Monday.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here [at Southend] everyone has made me welcome.

"Leeds is a long way away from home but it will be amazing playing in front of 37,000 people. They are a massive club and this is a massive opportunity for me," he told Southend's official website.
