Burnley v Arsenal (14:00)

Jens Lehmann will make a rare start in the Arsenal goal as manager Arsene Wenger continues his policy of rotating his squad for cup matches.

Nicklas Bendtner returns from his one-match suspension for his sending off against Everton to partner in-form Eduardo in attack.

Wenger will make the most of his African internationals before they travel to Ghana for the African Nations Cup while William Gallas, Gael Clichy and Alex Hleb could be rested.

Luton Town v Liverpool (16:00)

Luton are still without defender Chris Coyne, who is suspended following his red card against Bristol Rovers on Boxing Day, which means that midfielder Keith Keane will continue to fill in for the Australian.

The big news for the 2006 winners is that Steven Gerrard, Alvaro Arbeloa and Fabio Aurelio are all out of the trip to Kenilworth Road.

Sami Hyypia is likely to move in to centre back, with Rafa Benitez unwilling to risk Daniel Agger in a cup match following a lengthy lay-off, while Jon Arne Riise returns at left back.

After playing four straight matches, striker Fernando Torres is likely to be rested, meaning Peter Crouch and Andriy Voronin could start up front together for the first time since the League Cup defeat to Chelsea.

Xabi Alonso is set to return to the ground where he scored from his own half in January 2006.

Stoke City v Newcastle United (18:00)

Goalkeeper Russell Hoult returns from suspension, but Steve Simonsen is expected to continue in goal for Stoke.

Top scorer Ricardo Fuller, however, is due for a return to the side.

Michael Owen's half-time introduction against Manchester City means he could start alongside Mark Viduka.
