Will Hoskins thinks the home comforts of Nottingham could be just what is needed to launch his career after signing on-loan at the City Ground. The 21-year-old striker is poised to join Nottingham Forest on loan from Watford until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent £500,000 move to the City Ground in the summer.
"I want to score goals for Forest in front of fans from my hometown," Hoskins told the club's official website.
"I'm not exactly sure why things haven't gone particularly well for me at Watford but that has made me even more determined to make a success of my time at Forest."
Hoskins moved to Vicarage Road a year ago after a promising spell as a Rotherham trainee, but soon found himself loaned out to League One outfit Millwall where he scored four goals.
Forest, who host the Lions on Saturday, hope the deal will go through on Friday when the loan window re-opens so Hoskins will be able to available to make his debut against his former side.
