Ben Hutchinson has spoken of his determination to make an immediate impact at Celtic following his January move from Middlesbrough.Hutchinson joined the Bhoys in a £250,000 deal last week, penning a three-and-half-year contract.
Manager Gordon Strachan has since outlined his feeling that the 20-year-old is one for the future.
But Hutchinson is keen to impress his new boss, and is optimistic of breaking into the first team in the near future.
"I would love to make an immediate impact. It would be a fairytale but we'll see what happens between now and the end of the season," he said in the Daily Record.
"If I can get straight into the first team now I'll be delighted and if I can make an impact I will be happy.
"From July 1 the work will really begin and that's when I have to make my mark.
"But I want to make an impact now - and I will make an impact."
