Swansea manager Roberto Martinez will be without left-back Marcos Painter for Saturday's trip to Crewe and is weighing up who will deputise.Painter, 21, collected his fifth yellow card of the season in the Swans' 2-1 win over Oldham, landing himself a one-match ban.

"It's a blow to lose Marcos because he has been doing very well in recent weeks," Martinez told the club's official website.

"But now he needs to use his break to refresh himself after a hectic couple of weeks.

"But I have faith in whoever comes in to replace him. Everyone in the squad is prepared to step in to cover injury, suspension or loss of form.

"Now I'll just have to assess who I feel is the best person to come in."
