Paris St-Germain attacker Loris Arnaud has signed a new contract with the club until 2010.
Arnaud, 20, said that he would like to remain at the club for as long as possible, having grown up supporting PSG.
"I signed for one year at the start of the season and the coach [Paul Le Guen] is happy with my first games with the pros, so therefore I have prolonged it for another two and a half years," he told the club's official website.
"I have been at PSG since I was 12 years old. I was born in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and I have been a PSG fan since I was a small child.
"It is very important for me to achieve my goals at a club that I love. I will try to do great things here and remain for as long as possible."
Arnaud has made 14 appearances this season, scoring one goal, but has seen Brazilian attackers Everton and Souza arrive late in the January transfer window.
"For me, it is good to have competition for places," he insisted. "It will force me to double my efforts and work even more in training to convince the coach to give me my chance.
"Paul Le Guen has talked with me. I am young, I only joined the professional ranks six months ago and I still have significant room for improvement."
PSG are struggling again this season in the bottom half of the table after a late surge of form saved them from relegation in 2006-2007.
