Premier League - Chelsea FC spell own name wrong
Chelsea FC were left with egg on their faces on Sunday afternoon - and not only for letting a 3-0 lead slip against Manchester United.

Fans around the world probably didn't pay much attention at first when an advert for the club shop's website appeared on advertising boards around Stamford Bridge.
But then something about those adverts began to jar, and thousands of people started to realise that the club had managed the unenviable feat of spelling its own name wrong in those adverts.
You read that right, even if the club's proof-readers didn't: the pitchside hoardings were supposed to point fans to chelseafc.com/shopping, which takes you to a web page selling everything from officially endorsed ice scrapers to Blues-themed Valentine's Day gifts.
Instead, users were pointed to chelsefc.com/shopping, which contains one of those dodgy-but-not-quite-illegal cybersquatting websites, advertising - at least in our case - help quitting smoking, a £95 a week football academy, and most bizarre of all a Leicester City fan website called leicestertillidie.com.

Yes, the match between Chelsea and Manchester Utd is GREAT PROOF that Howard Webb is biased in favour of the red devils.
English FA wake up ! Don't allow Howard Webb make you lose your credibility in the eyes of Europe.
Enough said.
The match was a proof of what Ryan Babel had pointed out before he left Liverpool that Howard Webb is a Man Utd fan when he received fine for picturing Howard Webb wearing Man Utd's jersey. I hope that FA would learn on how Howard Webb handled the match between Chelsea and Man Utd, so that he would never officiate any Man Utd match again. Ryan Babel has been vindicated at last.
I wonder why this has taken the centre stage.Yahoo should as well sample people's opinion on the victory which the centre referee denied Chelsea fc.Some of us are already use to this. But trust me, injustice is not only one side,Man U can do this over other clubs in England and get away with it but when they go to Europe, they will not find it funny, because the almighty Barcelona fc are the favourite there. Keep enjoying the game.
mr angry : your stupid m.u team will not win the title and will be trashed by barca any days :)
and it only took you 2 full days to work it out delayed free advertising by the anal retentiv spelling brigade
Everyone knows that there's a double E on the end.....whatever are they like. ?
Number 74."Another one blaming dyslexia for his own stupidity"
Actually it has been proven that those with dyslexia tend to have a higher IQ then the average person, but then you wouldn't know that would you Grumpy?
I would suggest it was a good advertising campaign as it has got idiots such as yourselves to give much increased coverage.
Also being a neutral in this, Chelsea didn't let a 3 goal lead slip. The ref played a blinder....literally
lucky lucky..... Man Utd,always have refree with them.....i believe Sunday game even Chelsea score 4 goal,Man Utd would also have score 4 goal and of course with the help of REF.....Howard Webb.......!!!!!
58 ANFIELD ACES - Nothing better to do than be abusive at 1.38am - Probably just returned home from robbing the neighbours. He can't spell either.
MR ANFIELD ACES u cant spell either,
Something which befits this club totally, ha ha ha. Obviously Roman's plucked a few illiterate Cockney wide boys from the stands to work in the Chavski marketing department!
Howard Webb can't even do his job properly....isn't a shame for EPL than chelsea spelling error.. ....get a life english journalist....
Another one blaming dyslexia for his own stupidity.
Moral of the story is. Man. Utd. are the better side. *full-stop*. The wrong misspelling, heck cares, we were there to watch entertaining football, not as spellchecker. Leave that to non-footballing fans.
Chelse rent boys, no, I think Chelsea rent boys sounds better
It was a draw against the God-like Man Utd...who everyone in the country supports (including Yahoos sycophantic commentator!) even if never getting within 300 miles of Manchester. Two of Man Utd's goals were from Howard Webb, one of their old staff members. There are a lot of contentious issues around this game...and what do we get from the media: a spelling mistake found at the Chelsea ground!
Nothing in life lasts for ever (including the geriatric jock!) and I think City's time has probably come now. Most of the rabble will switch allegiances very quickly, but what will the poor media do? And where will the FA get their bungs? This last match was a disgrace for the media (especially Yahoos bias reporting - who I won't listen to again!) in there own words 'go home, and don't come back!)
We paid money to learn English Language, why you English man is doing such Dynastic mistakes :) . Terry are you the secret behind this?
correct spelling is chelski
Why dont these thick idiets lern too spell??
