Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton says the financial problems at Fratton Park are not affecting the players - yet.
Pompey's players and staff are still waiting to receive January's wages after the club's bank accounts were frozen.
Appleton told The News: "You wouldn't have thought it was a problem if you watched training on Saturday. The way things are, you would think everything was normal.
"I think that is testament to the players and the staff that they do get on with it.
"If it continues, then it's only natural that eventually it is going to start getting people down. So, from my point of view, the job is only going to get more difficult.
"The longer it goes on, the more difficult it is going to get. So the sooner it is sorted out the better."

lets hope the staff get paid ,,as the players earn more in a week than most earn in a year ,,so they could go without for a few weeks ,,or more for the cause ,,bet that dont happen thou ,,pup
"Not many people would do this, but we wanted to help sustain the club through this difficult period," he told the South China Morning Post. This what that bloody crook Chanrai said yesterday when he said he was coming over from Hong Kong to sort out the problems. He is the bloody owner for god sake! It's the least he can bloody do. Pompey isn't a toy to be put down when you get bored with it you bellend!!
PLAY UP POMPEY, POMPEY PLAY UP!!
Hear Hear!
I don't worry so much about the players! I hope that the ground staff etc are getting paid. They should be the priority. I'm sure that Kanu can afford to miss a few pay cheques, it's not as if he plays any more anyway!!
