Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc backed manager Gordon Strachan's controversial claim that the Hoops are victims of double standards by referees. The Poland international was shown a yellow card by referee Iain Brines at the end of the 2-0 SPL win over Hibernian at Easter Road last Sunday for waving and gesturing to the home fans.
Strachan claimed afterwards that Brines' decision was typical of the differing disciplinary rules by which his players are judged in Scotland.
After Celtic's 1-0 defeat by Barcelona in the Nou Camp on Tuesday night which tipped the SPL champions out of the last 16 of the Champions League on a 4-2 aggregate scoreline, Boruc spoke about the frustrations of playing in his adopted homeland.
He said: "I agree with the manager (that it's one law for one and different for others). Some people are treated differently.
"It's weird just now. People are not allowed to celebrate after games.
"You can't do anything - it's a problem."
Since signing from Legia Warsaw in 2005, Boruc has become a cult figure at Celtic Park which has made him a target for some opposition fans.
The Pole will be under scrutiny again when Celtic travel to Pittodrie for their Scottish Cup tie against Aberdeen on Sunday.
But he praised the Hoops supporters for their show of support for him in the Nou Camp.
He said: "The Celtic fans were fantastic to me again."
