Northampton have re-signed wing-back Daniel Jones on loan from Wolves for the rest of the season.The 21-year-old spent the first half of the season at Sixfields - becoming a firm fans' favourite - and has been allowed to move back to the League One side after failing to break into Mick McCarthy's side.

Cobblers boss Stuart Gray said: "We are delighted that Daniel is coming back.

"He doesn't need any introduction. We know all about Daniel and he knows all about us, and I am sure that he is looking forward to getting stuck in again.

"It's only been a few weeks since he was with us, so hopefully he will be able to hit the ground running. We have a busy spell coming up in the next few weeks and having Daniel here again is a big boost."

In a further boost to Gray's play-off hopes fellow Wolves defender Mark Little has extended his loan at Sixfields for a third and final month.
