Notts County have revealed that Lawrie Dudfield suffered a broken bone in his wrist earlier this week and will have to wear a protective cast.However, the injury is not set to rule the striker out of contention for Saturday's home game against Barnet.

Dudfield, 27, sustained the injury in training but could wear a special cast on his left arm should he be selected against the Bees.

"He could wear a special cast, like Jason Lee did after he suffered a broken arm earlier this season," County physio John Haselden told the club's official website. "That would protect the injury and still allow him to play."
