Huddersfield keeper Simon Eastwood is hoping he has not suffered another fracture to his left foot after only recently recovering from injury. The England Under-18s goalkeeper, number two to Matt Glennon this season, sustained another injury to the foot during the reserves' midweek draw with Oldham.
Scans showed no serious damage, but Eastwood will also consult a specialist.
The 18-year-old had been sidelined for five months with the initial stress fracture before returning to the bench for the Terriers' last four matches.
Alex Smithies, whose only start came at Elland Road in the derby clash with Leeds in December, will step up to the bench at Leyton Orient on Saturday.
