Bury manager Alan Knill has singled out striker Andy Bishop for special praise as the club gear up for the end of season relegation run-in.The 25-year-old has scored 19 goals this season and his performances have attracted admiring glances from a number of higher-placed clubs.
Bishop is out of contract this summer and looks almost certain to leave Gigg Lane, but Knill admits he could hardly ask any more of the pacey frontman.
"There is a lot of speculation around him, but he is a really good lad to have in the dressing room and works very hard for the team," said Knill.
"The important thing is that we are performing pretty well and I know we have got players who will score goals."
