Southampton have won their appeal against the sending off of Gregory Vignal during the 2-2 draw with Wolves at Molineux on Tuesday. The on-loan RC Lens midfielder scored a 75th-minute penalty but was then shown a straight red card six minutes later after an incident in a crowd of players.
Saints' claim of wrongful dismissal was upheld by a regulatory commission that heard the appeal on Thursday.
"I am very pleased that we will now have Gregory available for Saturday because he has been playing well," Saints boss Nigel Pearson told the club's official website.
"We thought we were well within our rights to put in an appeal and our staff have worked hard to prepare a good case and I'm glad common sense has prevailed."
