Brentford manager Andy Scott has admitted that defender Matty Heywood could be out for the rest of the season due to a rib injury.The centre-back suffered a rib injury in the 1-0 defeat at Chesterfield last month and the Bees have lost all four games since.

Scott said: "I think Matty's going to be out for longer than we anticipated. He could be out for the season.

"He is seeing the consultant again on Friday but there is a possibility it may have punctured his lung - which would rule him out for the rest of the season.

"We have really missed his leadership."
