On-loan midfielder Ian Westlake admits that he is "excited" about helping Brighton claim a place in the League One play-offs.Westlake made his Seagulls debut in the 4-2 win over Gillingham on Tuesday, just hours after agreeing to sign from parent club Leeds on a one-month loan deal.
He told the club's official website: "I'd like to help Brighton achieve a place in the play-offs. I've been in them twice with Ipswich but never ended up winning them.
"I'm on loan from Leeds and they are obviously looking for that as well. But I am a Brighton player now so play-offs here we come hopefully.
"All I want to do is play regularly. Whether that is for the month that I am currently here for or whether it is for the rest of the season, I am just excited.
"I want to play this month and play these eight games and see how it goes."
