Everton face a tricky trip to Florence to face Serie A big-boys Fiorentina in their UEFA Cup last 16 first leg clash from 19:45 GMT!

Fiorentina are not underestimating an Everton side who - while not boasting any sort of recent European pedigree - have emerged as one of the toughest propositions in England.

"[Tim] Cahill is excellent when he manages to get in behind the defence," warned former Everton defender Per Kroldrup, now plying his trade for La Viola. "He is clever and you have always got to be careful when he is near your goal.

"[Mikel] Arteta is one who can make a difference but my memories of them is that they are a strong squad collectively. They are very well organised and work on tactics in training more than any other English club."

Everton have no new injury worries after Joseph Yobo, Steven Pienaar, Tim Cahill and Andrew Johnson all featured in the Toffees' 3-1 win over Portsmouth at the weekend.

Mikel Arteta could also feature and he is expected to join the rest of the squad from Spain, where he has been treated for a groin injury.

Fiorentina are without top scorer Adrian Mutu after he suffered a serious knee injury, with Giampaolo Pazzini set to plough a lone furrow up front.
