Sven-Goran Eriksson says a place in Europe is still a possibility, even though Manchester City have secured only one in seven games.Chelsea wrapped up a routine 2-0 Premier League victory at Eastlands on Saturday to leave City in ninth place - four points behind sixth-placed Portsmouth.
Eriksson said: "My dream is to play in Europe next season, and we will never give up.
"It was important for the players to know they can play good football against a team like Chelsea.
"We have a lot of young lads, and they competed very well. They kept on fighting.
"You are never happy when you lose, but I feel much better than I did a week ago."
