Bradford manager Stuart McCall was delighted to see his side avenge their last-minute defeat at Morecambe last October with a 1-0 home win.The Shrimps had no answer to a 54th-minute goal from stand-in striker Eddie Johnson which proved to be the only difference between the two sides.
"A defeat at Morecambe was the lowest part of the season for me," said McCall. "I felt I was at the bottom looking up, but I thought we deserved to win from the chances we created and our possession of the ball.
"I was probably disappointed we didn't capitalise on our domination of the game.
"We had five or six good opportunities in the first half and we hit the bar and had the ball nicked from our feet, but I was quite confident that if we played in the same way after half time the goals would come.
"Unfortunately, there was only one goal in it and if you don't take your chances you'll become a bit edgy near the end."
