Avram Grant insists there is no problem with Frank Lampard following the Chelsea midfielder's reaction to being substituted against Fenerbahce.
Lampard was unhappy at being replaced with 15 minutes remaining of the 2-1 defeat to Fenerbahce in the UEFA Champions League.
The score was 1-1 at the time of the substitution and Lampard threw his boots away after making his way to the dugout.
But Grant, who was impressed with his team's performance in Turkey, admits he has no quarrel with Lampard displaying his 'passion'.
"It was our best in Europe this season, but we lost the game," said Grant in the Daily Star Sunday of the performance. "Frank wanted to understand why, that's all.
"Frank is a very passionate player. He was very disappointed that Fenerbahce had equalised.
"I shook hands with Frank. I like passionate players. If his reaction was good or not, it is an internal matter.
"The discipline at Chelsea has been very good since I've been here. I speak with all the players, but I speak about the game and not something else."
